The future technological fossils will keep an idea of a remaining life. Between degraded silicon and rusted integrated circuits, an autonomous vibrant matter will orbit, reorganized beyond human intervention. Kipple (ZABRA 008), by Random Gods, is the sound landscape of that scenario, already so real in the times we’re living. The impulse that organized these materials, rhythmic and fragmentary, is so connected with the harshness of mechanics as it is to the tribal liturgies. After all, the image of the end is always similar to the beginning. Layer upon layer, the synthetic somehow merges with the natural, as an assembly of machines, subjects, objects and money. Everything has in itself the seed of its announced obsolescence. We are all chimeras - mitified or manufactured.
